Established in 2022, Black Lives Veggies is dedicated to fostering urban agriculture in Austin. With over $5,000 donated to local community gardens, we enhance green spaces and promote sustainable practices. Our education programs have empowered 50+ families with gardening skills. Through partnerships with public housing, we provide access to fresh produce and gardening education. Our signature event, "Keep Austin Growing," is the city's first garden tour, showcasing urban gardening's vibrant potential. We focus on practical techniques to ensure sustainable and plentiful harvests in families' backyards.
